03What Is Personal Data?
"Personal Data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person — such as your name, email address, telephone number, job title, employer, online identifiers and other information that may identify you directly or indirectly.
Information relating solely to a legal entity may not itself constitute Personal Data, although information relating to its directors, shareholders, employees, representatives or other individuals may.
04Personal Data We May Collect
A. Information you provide through our website — when you submit a consultation request or enquiry, we may collect your name, business email, phone/WhatsApp number, company name, country, job title, nature of your transfer pricing requirement, transaction type and value range, revenue range, preferred consultation date/method, and free-text information you provide. We recommend you do not submit confidential documents, ID documents, bank details or sensitive Personal Data through an ordinary enquiry form.
B. Information collected when you engage our services — client acceptance, professional services and regulatory compliance may require identification and contact details, information on directors/shareholders/beneficial owners, corporate and ownership information, tax and financial information, KYC/AML/CFT and sanctions checks, billing information, and engagement communications.
C. Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate region, pages visited, referring page, timestamps, session information, website interactions, cookie identifiers, and technical/security diagnostics.
D. Information received from third parties — your employer, another group company, an authorised representative, referral partners, professional advisers, publicly available sources, business networking or social media platforms, event organisers, or analytics/marketing providers, where authorised or permitted by law.
05How We Use Personal Data
Responding to enquiries — to answer questions, assess how we may assist, arrange consultations, and prepare proposals.
Providing professional services — to administer engagements, deliver advisory and documentation services, prepare deliverables, and manage client relationships.
Client acceptance and regulatory compliance — client/engagement acceptance, KYC and beneficial-ownership checks, AML/CFT and sanctions screening, and responding to lawful authority requests.
Website operation and security — operating and protecting the website, troubleshooting, detecting unauthorised activity, and improving functionality.
Publications and marketing — where permitted, sending transfer pricing alerts, technical publications and event invitations; you may opt out at any time.
Business administration — invoicing, internal reporting, quality control, risk management, auditing and service improvement.
06Legal Basis for Processing
Depending on circumstances and applicable law, we may process Personal Data where: you have given consent; it is necessary to respond to your request or take steps toward a proposed engagement; it is necessary to perform a contract; it is required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations; it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; it is necessary for legitimate interests permitted under applicable law; or another lawful basis applies.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it, subject to applicable law and without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
07Consultation Requests
Submitting a consultation request does not automatically establish a professional adviser-client relationship. Information submitted is initially used to understand your enquiry, determine whether it falls within our services, identify preliminary conflicts, communicate with you, and determine an appropriate scope of assistance.
A formal professional relationship is established only after acceptance procedures are completed and engagement terms are agreed. Please avoid providing highly confidential or commercially sensitive information through an initial enquiry unless specifically requested.
08Marketing Communications
We may send professional updates or marketing communications where you have requested them, provided consent, or where we have an existing professional relationship permitted by applicable law.
Every electronic marketing communication will, where appropriate, include a way to unsubscribe or manage preferences. You may also email info@thetransferpricing.com at any time to stop marketing communications. Opting out will not affect communications necessary to administer an existing engagement.
09Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use Strictly Necessary, Analytics, Preference and Marketing/Advertising cookies, as described further in our separate Cookie Policy. Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will not be activated until appropriate consent has been obtained, and visitors can manage preferences through the website's cookie-management facility.
10Google Analytics and Similar Tools
Where analytics services are enabled, website usage information may be processed by third-party analytics providers to help us understand website performance and visitor behaviour, including IP-derived, device, browser and interaction information. Analytics technologies are subject to appropriate cookie consent controls where required, and providers may change as our infrastructure develops.
11Social Media and Third-Party Platforms
We may maintain professional profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. If you interact with us through such platforms, your Personal Data may also be processed by the relevant platform operator under its own privacy policy. We do not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites we may link to.
12Who We May Share Personal Data With
We do not sell Personal Data to advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose Personal Data, where reasonably necessary, to: PPG personnel who require access; professional advisers; IT, hosting and cloud-storage providers; CRM, email and scheduling platforms; cybersecurity and analytics providers; payment providers; outsourced service providers; independent local advisers for international matters; regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required; and professional-indemnity insurers.
Service providers processing Personal Data on our behalf are expected to do so only for the relevant purpose, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
13International and Cross-Border Data Transfers
Because we serve international businesses and may use technology providers in multiple jurisdictions, Personal Data may be processed or stored outside the UAE. Where transferred internationally, we seek to use appropriate safeguards, which may include transfer to jurisdictions with adequate protection, contractual safeguards, consent, or another legally permitted mechanism. We seek to limit international access to what is reasonably necessary.
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law specifically regulates cross-border transfers and requires relevant safeguards depending on the destination jurisdiction.
14Local Professional Advisers
Certain cross-border engagements may require assistance from qualified advisers in another jurisdiction. Information may be shared with such advisers with appropriate authority, subject to confidentiality obligations and applicable data protection requirements. An independent adviser determining its own processing purposes may act as an independent controller, subject to its own privacy policy.
15Sensitive Personal Data
We do not normally seek Sensitive Personal Data through the public areas of our website. Please do not submit information concerning health, religion, political opinions, biometric information, or criminal records through a general website form unless specifically necessary and requested. Certain engagements may require processing information regarded as sensitive under applicable law; where this occurs, we do so only with an appropriate legal basis and suitable safeguards.
16Financial and Corporate Information
Our transfer pricing work may involve substantial information relating to companies, transactions and financial arrangements. Although company information is not necessarily Personal Data, documentation may contain Personal Data relating to shareholders, directors, key management, employees, beneficial owners, borrowers/lenders and authorised representatives — handled in accordance with this policy to the extent it constitutes Personal Data.
17Data Security
We seek to maintain reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect Personal Data from unauthorised access, loss, disclosure, alteration, destruction or misuse. Depending on circumstances, safeguards may include access and authentication controls, secure cloud infrastructure, encryption, backups, confidentiality obligations, staff access restrictions and cybersecurity protections.
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law requires controllers and processors to apply appropriate technical and organisational measures having regard to the nature, scope and risks of processing. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
18Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes collected and to comply with legal, professional and regulatory requirements. For example: website-enquiry correspondence is retained for a reasonable period to manage the enquiry and business records; client/engagement information is retained for the relationship's duration and thereafter as required by legal, tax, AML/CFT, regulatory and dispute-resolution requirements; marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or object; and analytics information is retained per the relevant platform's settings.
When no longer reasonably required, we securely delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of the information.
19Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to: be informed how your data is processed; request access; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion or erasure; request restriction of processing; object to certain processing, including direct marketing; withdraw consent; request data portability; obtain information about automated processing; and submit a complaint to the relevant data protection authority.
The precise rights available depend on applicable law and are subject to relevant legal exceptions. The UAE PDPL provides rights to information, data transfer, correction/erasure, restriction and stopping certain processing; the GDPR provides a broadly similar suite of rights where it applies.
20Exercising Your Rights
To exercise a privacy right or raise a privacy enquiry, contact our Privacy Contact:
Prime Partners Global LLC-FZ
Email: info@thetransferpricing.com
Address: Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Al Meydan Rd, Nad Al Sheba First, Dubai, UAE
Please provide sufficient information for us to understand your request. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity, and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law.
21Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
We do not currently intend to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals solely through automated processing of information collected through this website. We may use automated tools for administrative functions such as spam detection, security screening, enquiry routing and marketing segmentation. This policy will be updated if our practices change and applicable law requires it.
22Information About Children
Our website and professional services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not intentionally solicit Personal Data from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data to us without appropriate authority, please contact us so we can assess and, where appropriate, remove the information.
23Confidentiality and Professional Information
Privacy and professional confidentiality are related but distinct concepts. Information provided in connection with a professional engagement may also be subject to contractual confidentiality obligations, professional standards, engagement terms or statutory requirements. This Privacy Policy does not reduce or replace any stronger confidentiality obligation applying to a particular engagement.
24Links to External Websites
Our website may contain links to governmental websites, tax authorities, OECD resources, professional organisations, social media or other third-party publications. A link does not mean we control or endorse the linked site's privacy practices. Once you leave our website, another organisation's privacy terms govern the processing of your data.
25Business Reorganisation
If Prime Partners Global LLC-FZ undergoes a reorganisation, merger, restructuring, acquisition, disposal of part of its business, or similar transaction, relevant Personal Data may be disclosed to professional advisers, counterparties or successors where reasonably necessary and permitted by law. Any recipient acquiring responsibility for such information is expected to process it in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
26Disclosure Required by Law
We may disclose Personal Data where reasonably believed to be required or permitted by applicable law, a court order, a regulatory or governmental authority, tax or AML/CFT compliance, an investigation, fraud prevention, or to establish/defend legal rights or protect the safety of PPG, our personnel, clients or others. Where legally permitted, we seek to limit disclosure to information reasonably required.
27Data Protection Laws Outside the UAE
Prime Partners Global LLC-FZ is established in the UAE and this website is operated from the UAE. Because the website is accessible internationally, additional privacy laws may apply to particular processing activities depending on the individual's location, the nature of services offered, and any tracking undertaken.
Where legislation such as the EU GDPR, UK GDPR or another foreign privacy regime applies to a particular activity, we will seek to process Personal Data accordingly. The GDPR, for example, can apply to a business outside the EU where it offers goods or services to, or monitors, people in the EU. Nothing here represents that every foreign privacy law applies to every activity on this website.
28Complaints
If you have concerns about how your Personal Data has been handled, please contact us first at info@thetransferpricing.com. We will review the matter and seek to address your concerns.
Where applicable, you may also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office or another competent data protection authority. The UAE PDPL includes a mechanism for complaints to the competent Data Office.
29Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our website, services, technology or service providers, our data-processing activities, or applicable legal requirements. The revised version will be published here with an amended "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through other appropriate means. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
